🙏Namaste! 🙏

It is with a deep sense of humility, gratitude, and pride that I step into the role of President of the Nashville Nepalese Association. I am sincerely grateful to our community members, advisors, and volunteers for placing your trust in me and the newly elected executive team.

Since its inception in 2010, NNA has grown from a close-knit group into a vibrant, thriving 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Together, we have built a beautiful home away from home here in Greater Nashville and across Middle Tennessee. Thanks to the dedication of past leadership and the unwavering support of our members, NNA has successfully preserved our rich cultural heritage through regular celebrations like Dashain, Tihar, Teej, and the Nepali New Year. We have also fostered strong community bonds through local sports activities, youth engagement, and humanitarian efforts?such as our vital blood drives and the incredible completion of the Shree Bishwa Jyoti Primary School building project in rural Nepal.

As we look toward the future, my vision for NNA centers on three key pillars: Community Engagement, Youth Empowerment, and Collaboration. Moving forward, our team is committed to:

Preserving and Sharing Our Culture: Continuing our cherished traditions and vibrant festival celebrations, ensuring our children grow up with a deep understanding of and pride in their Nepalese roots.

Empowering the Next Generation: Creating more dedicated programs, sports events (like our community soccer initiatives), and educational platforms that engage our youth and help them thrive as future leaders.

Strengthening Local Support & Unity: Enhancing our networking, professional development, and community welfare initiatives so that NNA remains a strong, transparent, and dependable support system for every individual and multi-generational family in our area.

Giving Back: Continuing our commitment to charitable and social impact initiatives both locally in Tennessee and back home in Nepal.

An association is only as strong as its community. NNA belongs to each and every one of you. I warmly invite your ideas, your constructive feedback, and your active participation. Whether you are a long-time resident or new to the Nashville area, your voice matters, and your involvement is what drives our collective success.

Let us work together with unity, mutual respect, and a shared purpose to take the Nashville Nepalese Association to even greater heights.

Thank you for your continued support, generosity, and commitment. I look forward to meeting and collaborating with many of you at our upcoming events.
